Mixing full-throttle rock with dollops of blue-eyed soul, vintage R&B and melodic pop radio anthems in-the-making, Parachute has arrived. With roots in Charlottesville, VA, the five members of Parachute have been friends for years and have developed a sound that is all their own. Will has been playing with drummer Johnny Stubblefield, bassist Alex Hargrave and saxophone/keyboardist Kit French since they were classmates in high school almost seven years ago. Will met Nate while attending University of Virginia together, and the guitarist joined the band three years ago. The unmistakable energy on stage is a result of their friendship, and it has helped them to find many successes within their mixed genre
The Cab got its start while band members Alex DeLeon (vocals) and Cash Cooligan (bass) were still in high school. Panic! At the Disco's Spencer Smith got ahold of the group's demo and was so impressed that he helped the young crew ink a deal with Decaydance/Fueled by Ramen Records, which released The Cab's debut album Whisper War in 2008. Featuring singles "I'll Run," "One of Those Nights," and "Bounce," the disc impressed rockers and pop aficionados alike. Since bursting onto the scene, The Cab's whirlwind success story has continued to gain momentum. Although the group has undergone several lineup changes, it was featured on the 2010 Warped Tour and has also hit the road with peers like Simple Plan, Forever the Sickest Kids, The Summer Set, and more. In addition, the band parted ways with Decaydance and Fueled by Ramen and independently released its sophomore album, Symphony Soldier, in 2011. Declared a "masterpiece" by AbsolutePunk, the album features the hit singles "Bad" and "La La."
