Hailing from North Philadelphia with his formative music experiences rooted in the church, Jeff Bradshaw’s trombone has propelled horn-sections for everyone from Jill Scott and Jay-Z to Erykah Badu and Kirk Franklin. Bradshaw brought his dream of performing live for a sold-out Kimmel Center audience to fruition in May 2014. The respect accorded Jeff Bradshaw by his peers was shown by the impressive list of artists: Marsha Ambrosius, Will Downing, Black Thought of The Roots, Kim Burrell, Bilal, Eric Roberson, Kenny Lattimore, and more. Produced by Robert Glasper, Home’s live show and recording has been wildly popular amongst R&B and Jazz fans alike. While Jeff is was well on the way to achieving his goal of making the trombone ‘cool,’ his live performances certainly leave an unforgettable musical impression on each guest.
