Rawayana was born in 2007 in Caracas, Venezuela. Founded by Alberto Montenegro and Tony Casas Jr., who after playing together for a season decide to incorporate guitarist Alejandro Abeijón and drummer Rodrigo Michelangeli. Already in mid-2009, under the Management and Booking of World Musical Madness, the group begins to appear in different venues of the Venezuelan capital, at which time they decide to add as percussionist to Toño Casas Sr ,. Father of the bassist and Andres Story (Major Percussion). A few months later, Rawayana is selected from hundreds of bands nationwide to perform at the Festival New Bands 2010. This recognition leads them to share stage with artists such as Viniloversus , La Vida Boheme , Los Mesoneros , Melendi, El Cuarteto de Nos, The Mentas, Onechot, among many others.

In 2011 he released his first album called License To Be Free with which he had a showcase driven by the brand name Quiksilver and the label Peer Music. This event took place in the Hard Rock Café Caracas, attending more than a thousand people, are known for their video clip Blue Fire directed by Rodrigo Michelangeli and Johan Verhook which had great acceptance within the Venezuelan public, as well as the songs , "Something Different", "Something Different" and "Gatos Oliva" which earned him four awards at the Pepsi Awards in Venezuela: Best Reggae Artist of the Year, Best Reggae Song of the Year with "Something Different", Best Reggae Year and Best Reggae Disco of the Year.

In May 2013, Rawayana released his second album called Rawayanaland via YouTube, and later on he would perform physically. In the album there are collaborations such as José Luis Pardo ( Dj Afro ) (guitarist Los Amigos Invisibles ), Natalia Lafourcade and MC Klopedia . His first single is Ay Ay Ay the video of this song was directed by his former drummer Rodrigo Michanlegi. His second single is Today Tema that has collaborations of Ramses ( MCklopedia ) And Psyco integral of 4th Power

On October 7, 2016, Rawayana released their third album entitled "Trippy Caribbean". Its song star, "High" with collaboration of Apache, got to be recognized by several countries of the americas and the 5 million reproductions Youtube. This has been his best known album for now.
