Returning to the Howard Theatre, this live rhythm and blues review showcases 4 dynamic singers backed by an 11-piece jazz orchestra and some of the east coast’s finest musicians, including a special guest appearance by the Howard Gospel Choir of Howard University. Adam Levowitz, the orchestra’s music director and keyboard player, has written 20 brand new arrangements that celebrate the artists and songs from the original Blues Brothers soundtrack, including “Think” by Aretha Franklin, “She Caught The Katy” by Taj Mahal, “Let the Good Times Roll” by Louis Jordan, “Gimme Some Lovin” by Spencer Davis and more.
